These terms are an agreement between you and Narendra K Ram, who runs ShotDemo from India ("we"). By using ShotDemo you accept them. Questions: email@shotdemo.com.
The service
ShotDemo makes product videos from screenshots of your software and from your public website: it helps write a script, adds camera moves, a voice, captions and music, and renders the videos. Free features include creating projects, AI-written scripts and preview videos within daily limits. Finished video files are paid for once per video, as described on the pricing page.
Your account
You sign in with a Google account. Keep it secure: what happens under your account is your responsibility. One account is for one person; a team may share projects by sharing that person's login only if they accept these terms too.
Your content
You keep all rights to what you bring: screenshots, logos, product names, text, music and website pages. You confirm that you have the right to use them in a video, and that they do not break anyone's rights or any law. You allow us to store, process and send them to the services listed in our privacy page, only to make your videos and run the service.
Do not use ShotDemo for content that is unlawful, deceptive, hateful or sexual, that impersonates someone else's product or brand, or that infringes copyright or trademarks. Do not ask ShotDemo to capture websites you are not allowed to show. Do not try to get around the free limits or payments, or to disrupt the service.
Your videos
Videos you pay for are yours to use, including commercially: on your website, in social posts and in ads. The voices come from Microsoft Azure's neural voices, which are licensed for commercial use, and ShotDemo's music beds are generated by ShotDemo. Music you upload yourself is yours to license for the places you use the video. Preview videos carry a watermark and are for evaluation.
Scripts, descriptions and captions written by AI can contain mistakes. Check every line before you publish; you are responsible for what your video says about your product.
Payments
Prices are in US dollars: a video is $58, plus the tax that applies where you are. Our checkout is run by Dodo Payments, our reseller and merchant of record for all orders: it takes the payment, charges the tax and sends you the invoice, and its own terms apply to the payment itself. You can pay in US dollars or in your own currency; the checkout shows the exact total before you pay. A payment unlocks the finished files for one video: one project for one product, with every shape and both cuts, which you may render again after changes. Delivery is covered by our shipping and delivery policy and refunds by our cancellation and refund policy.
Availability and changes
We work to keep ShotDemo running and your files safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. Keep your own copy of videos you depend on. We may change or stop features; if we stop the service, we will give paid users reasonable notice to download their videos.
Responsibility
ShotDemo is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or business, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the video the claim is about.
Ending
You may stop using ShotDemo and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts in India have jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use ShotDemo after a change means you accept it.
